SOME HAVE BEEN MORE SEVERE THAN OTHERS BUT NON THE LESS, DEPRESSION AS A WHOLE CAN GET PRETTY DEVASTATING. I AM NOT A TRAINED PSYCHOLOGIST OR DOCTOR, I'M JUST SPEAKING TO YOU FROM EXPERIENCE. I TALK, MOTIVATE, LISTEN, ADVISE AND HOPEFULLY INSPIRE YOU WITH MY SUCCESS STORY OF HOW I OVERCAME MY TRIALS, DEPRESSION AND HELPED OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. THE WORD DEPRESSION GETS THROWN AROUND A LOT THESE DAYS BY PEOPLE WHOM I STRONGLY FEEL DONT TRULY UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT, THEY BELITTLE PEOPLE WHO FEEL DEPRESSED AND EVEN PROGRESS TO CALL THEM WEAK. I SAY THIS TIME AND TIME AGAIN, NOBODY WAKES UP IN THE MORNING AND DECIDEDS TO FEEL UNHAPPY, DEPRESSED AND UNABLE TO FACE THE WORLD. NOBODY WANTS TO BE IN HOSPITAL UNITS OR IN THERAPY BY PURE CHOICE, A TRAUMATIC EVENT HAS CAUSE A CHEMICAL IMBALANCE IN THE BRAIN THAT'S ONE WAY TO LOOK AT DEPRESSION. LOSS, GREIF, WAR, RELATIONSHIPS, SELF ESTEEM, STRESS, SEXUAL ABUSE OUR MAIN TOPIC HERE ON SITE, ALL FACTORS THAT CAN LEAD TO DEPRESSION AND SEVERE DEPRESSION.
DEPRESSION CAN BE A LONG, DARK, UGLY ROAD ESPECIALLY IF TRAVELLED ALONE, IT CAN ALSO BE HARD ON FAMILY MEMBERS TO. DEPRESSION CAN LEAD TO SEVERE DEPRESSION THAT CAN LEAD TO SUICIDAL THOUGHTS. 1) QUICKLY GET CHANGED, THROW ON WHATEVER, DRIVE, WALK OR BUS RIDE TO A PLACE OF UTTER QUIET AND PEACE, WHATEVER THAT MAY BE TO YOU. TO ME, ITS THE OCEAN OR A FOREST.
2) FIND A NICE QUIET SPOT IN YOUR GARDEN OR IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO CREATE YOU A LITTLE HAVEN PLACE IN YOUR OWN HOME.
NOW TO STILLNESS
CLOSE YOUR EYES, BREATH IN REALLY DEEPLY AND WHEN YOU BREATH OUT, BREATHE OUT WHATS BOTHERING YOU. LISTEN TO THE STILLNESS, THE SOUNDS OF THE AIR BLOWING OR BIRDS CHIRPING AND THEN DONT LISTEN TO ANYTHING BUT YOURSELF. FOCUS ON YOUR BREATHING AND BEING STILL. ( IF YOU ARE AT HOME, INDOORS, SOMETIMES PUTTING ON SOME PEACEFUL RAINFOREST SOUND MUSIC REALLY HELPS)
STAY IN THE STILLNESS FOR AS LONG AS YOU NEED TO BUT WHATEVER YOU DO WITHIN THAT TIME DO NOT THINK OF ANYTHING NEGATIVE. LITERALLY FOCUS ON YOUR BREATHING IF YOUR MIND STARTS TO WONDER.
I WANT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT DEPRESSION, YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE READ MY STORY YET BUT ASSUMING YOU HAVE THEN YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE DEALT WITH DEPRESSION AND FOUGHT IT OFF. THE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU IS THAT EVEN WHEN IT SEEMS SO BAD THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE TO BEAT IT.
